Try this link to Drivetrain Specialists of Las Vegas:

http://www.drivetrain.com/velvetride.html

That's where I bought mine, had 'em in just a few days.
Can't give you an evaluation, as I haven't installed them yet.
Also have a set of Edelbrock IAS mono tube gas shocks waiting to go on. Eventually, I plan on taking the stiff overloads off and replacing them with air bags.

Re:velvet ride spring helpers?

Vin, I am getting ready to install air bags on mine (already purchased just no time to install yet) you mentioned you are going to remove your helpers, may I ask why? My horse trailer weighs 10,000lbs empty and with the factory springs it sets the truck all the way down on the helpers now and I was thinking anything would help. I am trying to make the right decision here and dont want to do any more than nesc or do it twice. Depending on weight wouldn't it be better to have the best of both worlds with springs and bags?

1320,

I did a little internet searching with the following results:

Here's a link to Lord Corporation, they are acting like they make them (I thought it was Dana/Spicer). Re:velvet ride spring helpers?

Horse Hauler,

When I have pulled a heavily loaded gooseneck (~24,000lbs.), the multi-leaf overloads have been too stiff. Rough roads made the truck jump like the proverbial "John Travolta doll".
Admittedly, I had too much tongue weight, but it was not practical to move the axles on the trailer and the whole deck was loaded.

I think the capacity of the Super Duty kit will surpass or at least equal that of the overload springs and provide a much smoother ride. A plus is that you can adjust the air pressure according to the load.

Re:velvet ride spring helpers?

I have had them on my Ram 1500 for several years. They really do smooth out the ride and on a rough road they keep the back end from getting bounced all around. Another benefit I fould was they really helped to control wheelspin on my SC gasser.
