The miller or cummins tool that lets you change all 4 at once is the ticket.

Rodram.
I just bought one from cummins. I will be done with it by the weekend. If you'd like to borrow it when I'm done, just let me know.

If I may ask, what does putting these valve springs do for your engine, & what other requirements do you need to use them?

Helps control the valves better than the factory springs. Stronger spring rate and so on and so forth. Member Rowj picked up a fairly decent amount of torque after installing them due to him floating the valves at high boost. Don't need any requirements to run them. You can run them on a factory engine if you want to. But you really wouldn't see enough of a difference to warrant the cost. When you upgrade to a bigger cam or are pushing some very high boost numbers then it would be worth it to get them.

Thanks Ron, but I have one on the way. I am going to try to post some good pictures of the whole spring change.

Bigblue, What kinda boost numbers are we talking about floating the valves at? I run 65psi on the street, but only saw 50psi on the dyno.

Many 24v 5.9L Cummins experience piston slap and valve float over 45-50 psi boost: also exhaust soot build up in the air intake plenum!
IMO, F-1 valve springs are worthwhile and produce much better breathing above 2500 rpm.

I'd say your the perfect candidate for them. I'd like to put a set on my truck since I'm at 50psi but can't afford it right now.

I just put them in with my new peformance head. The main reason I did them is so I could tach past 3100 with the helix 2 cam. I didn't notice a huge bump in torque like I expected with the cam (although the dyno showed it), but I can feel an impressive amount of torque now and I haven't even turned the boxes on yet. I think it will be awesome once I do my last retorque.

BTW, per F1, 3100 is as high as you should tach with stock valve springs on the H2 cam so you don't float a valve.
