Valve Springs?

I have a set of Don's springs, but need to put them on. Has any one done this and knows how to do it and what special tools are required? will any old spring compressor work?

from what i know it should work. i had a large spring compressor for our cat at school so i used that. but i brought the #1 cylinder up pulled the spring the valve fell and hit the piston then put the new spring on then re- asembled.then the next cylinder just moved the crank with a bar and a i beleive 14mm socket on the fly wheel.turned really easy.

Most light duty spring compressors wont work. I tried one last time that was hand held and made by Lidle and it wouldnt even come close.
The miller or cummins tool that lets you change all 4 at once is the ticket.
