Thumbs up Thanks

This should be very helpful, 2 relays is the way I was going.
I'm taking that "+" sign as both wires being positive polarity.
No need responding if correct. Thanks again

Hey,

Sorry...I was not clear.
Positive for Lock
Reverse polarity for unlock

Hope this helps!

You know I been thinkin'..... that we're doin' 2 different things .
You're making them work and I want them to make my
( lock solenoid ) work. So I guess I'll keep lookin' at my diagram.
I think I need the motor wires.
thanks again

Installing this device is frustrating but once you get it going...it's a beauty! The toughest part of the install is when you press a button and nothing happens so you have no feedback from the system to troubleshoot. If the module clicks, you know you have power. If you are blowing fuses, you know something is connected wrong. Send some more info about your setup and I'll see if I can help.

unground your hood pin wire or hook it up to a pin switch,
unhook that white/blue activation wire you have grounded,
disconnect wait to start wire,

learn the tach, if it cranks too long, make sure you have the right tach wire or you can program it for voltage sensing but the tach is better. if you leave it on voltage sense, you need to adjust the crank time in the settings.

after you get it started, hook up the wait to start wire again and make sure it starts after the light turns off, if not, you got the wrong orange wire on the light.

ok your 451M should be wired like this:

Purple and purple/black wires should be wired to the red constant 12V wire in the ignition harness or another solid 12Volt source.

there is a plug on the bottom of the cluster of plugs that goes into the door, that plug will have a pink/purple wire and an orange/purple wire in it. you need to cut these wires. now you should have 4 wires total to work with. on your 451M you will have 4 wires left to use. wire them up as follows:

blue/black goes to the pink/purple wire that leads to the truck
brown/black goes to the pink/purple that goes into the door

green/black goes to the orange/purple that leads to the truck
white/black goes to orange/purple that goes into the door.
