When you upgrade your tranny what all do ya need to do to it? To handle the 450-550 power ranges?

Replace all the clutches. Replace the Valve body with a redesigned Valvbody. Replace Servo's and all with upgraded parts. Replace atleast the Input shaft with a Billet shaft. Turn up the Pressure.

In general that's what ya do.

Generall you will be doing a

Torque converter
Valve body
Master kit
Input shaft

Now with DTT you get accummulator/servo/4.4 lever ratio as well Im not sure of the others members will chime in.

I did all of the above to mine when I need a trans.

this is what i got from DTT. valve body, DTT noise filter, 91% converter,master kit,billet input,output shaft, DTT billet servo,DTT accumulator piston, o/d upgrade, mag hytec super deep tranny pan, DTT smart controller! for a grand total:::::::::::::: ALOT OF MONEY!!!!!!!!! but its worth every penny!!! cant wait to pick up the truck tommorow!!!!!!!!!! im going to be all ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't forget the under 1500 rpm 500,000 mile breakin period.

Good lord man. You just dropped a butt load of cash. Wish I had that kind of money. My tranny is getting worse everyday. :'(

oh ya dont forget all the gauges, drag comp, DD3's, afe mega cannon, 5" exhaust, pusher pump and a few odds and ends plus the DTT stuff ok now im broke! owell got to have some fun sometime!!! ;D im sure thursday when i get off work ill have something posted about how awesome the truck is! ;D just really excited to get it back!! its smoke time!!

Maybe I'm just getting a little de-sensitized, but somehow all that DTT stuff for your trans seems like a pretty good deal, especially if that's installed and everything! ;D

no had to pay for labor to get it installed so all together ALOT OF MONEY!!! i will write back thursday with all the kick but details if i dont get arrested on the way home with the truck!!!
