This wont work with the juice. You have to jump the signal wire and the 5v together.

 

Does it put more of a strain on the VP44?

 

I had mine unplugged for about a week. Way to much smoke for me. I was thinking about wiring it into a switch so I could turn it on and off in the cab but havent got around to it.

Yes.....It does put more strain on the VP44 if you dont have the necessary fueling mods.
