Two Kills!

On my way to church this last Sunday morning, I was lined up in the left lane with a fellow church goer in the right lane. We had two blocks till the left turn into church, so I knew the Honda Accord in the right lane would get on it quick to get ahead of me and the other ten cars lined up behind me, all headed to the same place. Well, when the light turned green I let him get half a car length or so ahead and then I stomped on it, Adrenaline on a lowly stage 3. He got on it with his bone stock 04' Accord V6 and I burried him in a cloud of smoke. When I started walking in, both my wife and Honda dude's wife were holding their heads down, ashamed of their husbands. Honda guy said, "Pretty fast for an old smoky Dodge!

Kill #2

Tonight, it snowed, melted, and was about 25* so it was starting to freeze up in places where the ice melt was no so heavy. I lined up next to a 05' WRX STI. He was weaving traffic coming up to the light so I new he was a racer. I had the Adrenaline on 3, but was in 2wd. Light turned green, I got an amazing start and jumped ahead two lengths or so. I started feeling a little cocky so I let up enough for him to start gaining back. WRX came up FAST! and I got on it hard in fourth and was left in the dust as I lost traction. Should have had it in 4WD! Although it was just really cold wet pavement, Adrenaline on 3 is too much for my pretty new siped tires. I also have 500 lbs of sand just inside the tailgate! So what I'm saying is I got Killed!

WOW!! You really like to pray when you race to church. I remember when my Dad always said "you could [P.O.] a preacher". Luckily he didn't see you or he would have been P.O.'d. Word of advice, when you are ahead, stay ahead & don't let off next time. Turn that box up too!

When I take my son to youth group, a nice, thick black fog bank in the parking lot is de rigueur for the crumb-crunchers.

Haha, great stories; especially since the women were holding their heads down. Gotta love the man-pride!

All that I can add to the Church story is that we left too late to arrive on time but some how managed to arrive just before church started.

Gents, as much as I love a good kill story, we can't be talking about street racing on open forums, as it is illeagal, and the boss don't like it.

No harm, no foul, just make sure that any future 'racing' takes place on a track.

Thanks!
