Unless he is encountering spring bind in the AFC, the starwheel does not affect full fueling. Starwheel will affect when the afc foot begins to move, since it changes the amount of preload on the diaphragm.

Mod your AFC for full travel, then move it rearward. You will get more rack travel, and be able to keep it cleaner.

Yes you right, but it does control when full fueling begins.

As does the spring he runs. Run a light spring with lots of preload, a medium spring with less preload, or a heavy spring light preload. All could start moving at the exact same pressure, but the light spring will obviously hit full fuel first, heavy spring last.

Logical...but a misconception, IMO.
Always better to set Secondary at max boost (within MAP). This gives lowest egt's and fastest air supply for reduced smoke.

Like I stated set the secondary to 25-30psi.

Hes running a HX35/40.

We all know anything above 32psi is starting to get out of the efficiency range of an HX35
