Twins tuning???

Twins tuning???
Ok, I was thinking about this abit. How do you set-up your primary turbo? I'm gonna put on a pressure gauge on this turbo. So how would you set-up the turbo. I've been asking around, but I haven't landed on how to set it up. Do you get the primary to do most of the work or use the secondary to do the work. My primary seems to only lights after I'm until my secondary lights hard. I think that they should be more similar and the primary should be working harder than what it is. This should help my spool-up as the secondary isn't working as hard. Whats your guys thoughts here? Its just abit of playing with the wastegate. Hopefully my wastegate is big enough to get the results that I'm looking for.

HT3B is only efficient up to ~32-35psi...over that, and it will start making hot air
The Secondary should be doing most of the work...but the faster the primary lights, the faster overall cooling will be.
Does this help at all??

I think when I did the twins on my truck..I set the waste gate on the top charger at 24lbs. But I also use a 12cm housing on the PDR HX35 to get things moving as fast as I can. I wanted as much boost as I could get in the 1800-2000 range for towing at highway speed(62mph). With this setup I see around 10lbs of boost on flat ground and you should see the needle jump on any small hill or overpass...

My bottom turbo is a doggie son of you know. It makes me mad as it seems that my top turbo spools, then the bottom hangs on for the ride. I remember reading most guys setting up the primary to do the work. I'm having a hard time of my mind around opening the wategate on the secondary to get a better spool-up. Why does this help? It the same air flow just that its not spooling the secondary. The primary still gets all the air flow as my twins set-up has the air flow from the secondary wastegates into the primary and isn't vented off. Opening the wastegate should slow down the spool-up right? Closing with make the secondary turbo work harder. Is this correct???
I have to install more pressure gauges to do the tuning.

Keep in mind, turbos are driven not only by fast-moving exhaust gases, but also by HOT exhaust gases. If the wastegate is shut, the secondary is still extracting heat energy from the gases that could be wastegated around the turbine and used to power the primary.

Exactly.... HEAT=ENERGY!!!
