I would use a s400 for the bottom. The S400s spool faster than a HT3B. Although 3Bs can be found fairly cheap between $250-400 for a really good one. Talk to Rip at sourceautomotive.biz. He sells almost everything you will need to build your own set-up..

S400 bottom and a good hx35/12 or 14 wg hybrid top is a great combo i see 1200 egts max. the 12 spool up is faster but i think i may drop to a 14 when i step up to a better clutch and bump the hp and hopefully the aditional flow will slop down the primary and help get a little more exhaust to the secondary

my tubing parts and pieces came from rip, i orderd one of his kits this go around. after building a couple of sets previously and fighting the agrivation of in and out, exhaust leaks and the ocassional poor weld pin hole leak. for this truck i decided to go with someone elses. his price was right on key for the tubing and all other parts and pieces i needed. i had the S400 already but even his price for the kit with the s400 is considerably less than other options.

the kits was very complete, instructions were a little vague but any kind of kit even pdr kit the instructions are vague. your better off laying it all out aseembling in outsid ethe truck getting things as close as you can then (possibly using a spare engien to get it all mocked up then dropping it in) The collant lines he provided i didnt need to use but the fit and finish of everything else was top notch. figure a full day for install.

It is said

that it flows more air and spools up faster.. So that would be a yes...
