I just went through this with mine. if you search my posts, you can see some of the suggestions.
I went with the HTB2 62/12. There is a group buy on them right now at cumminsforum.com, and he will give you a smokin' deal. If you message him, tell him Marine sent you.
Here is the link
His screen name is Woodsrat, real name is Chuck.

He has it in his sig, minus the HP he is running. Most people don't know how many horses they have.

It's best if you talk to him about it. If he wanted it published, he would have posted it.

There's a current thread where Gene007 made 528 with this same turbo and only makes it to 1200+ at the end of a 1/4 mile. Looks like the group buy is for the new high tech series.

The group buy is for most of the HTT turbos.

you dont really need a turbo with a comp (if its an edge comp) IMHO.

How much hp are you looking to acheive? 300? 400? 500?

All this is necessary to know what size to get. It would be retarted to buy one now and out-grow it in a coupla months!

just need a little info

adidasman23- I looked over your thread from last year- are you looking for a turbo to resolve the egt issues you've been having?? Did you ever change the pyro probe (thermocoupling?)? I'm guessing the truck is still running hot and you're just trying to cool things down.

He shouldn't need a bigger turbo with just the comp, but if he is going to change the injectors at all, he will need a turbo. That is what I have found with my setup.

This is true, But if were going to pick a new turbo, we need to know what size sticks, and what HP he's trying to get to

IMO, the 62/12 turbo will take you to about 425 hp on the street and 475 racing (short runs). This assumes your not towing heavy.
With higher hp you'll be needing a bigger exhaust housing (14 cm2) and with your automatic your then into driving around the lag!

Hope this helps.
