turbo(s), which one?

after I put Mach 4's and a dd clutch in I will be looking to upgrade the turbo. I would like to end up with a good set of twins. I need them to be daily driven and still be able to tow. The thing is, is I will only be able to buy one at a time with a good bit of wait time in between them. So what would be a good turbo to run with my stocker until I can get an other one and what should the other one be?

What do you mean "run with my stocker"?

Usually when people are buying are charger with twins in mind, they'll buy their top charger and then get a 2/3 twin kit from somewhere to finish it off.

A cheap top charger would be and HX40 with a 14 or 16 cm housing. You can also get a S300 variant to run as a top charger.

I was thinking of buying one turbo now to run with my hx35 in a twin setup until I can afford an other turbo to replace my hx35 unless there is a good combo of twins that uses the hx35. Or should I buy a single to replace the hx35 then later make it(?) into a twin?

no but that stuff will be easy for me to get and do. I just need help picking out what turbos to run, so if you can please help or suggest a set of twins that I can run. Which one to get first and can I run it with my hx35 or should I run it as a single. I would like twins as soon as I can and since I can't afford two at one time I was wondering if I can make twins using my hx35 until I can buy the second turbo

get a s400 to put underneath your hx35.

after you out grow that get a 62 and put it on top of the s400

The reason I asked is because not all top chargers are going to use the same hotpipe..... Example, the hotpipe to run a 35 on top will be different than a S300 like dieselfan suggested.

But anyway.....

I don't mind having to buy the hot pipe twice to make it work

thanks for the link great stuff. I am still trying to learn turbos, what does A/R effect if you increase/decrease it. I am pretty sure my hx35 is 56mm but what is it's A/R so I can compare it to the s400

hx 35 is 12cm, i think.

.90 ar will spool fast but pull less on top, 1.32 is bigger will be slower to spool, but pull harder on top.
