Turbo questions

I have 02 with a TST Comp stacked with a smarty right now. I wanna get a new turbo but not sure which one to go with. I wanna add 90hp injectors in the furture but really dont wanna have to upgrade the turbo again. I know I will have sacrafice spool up some. I also have 40 inch tires with 3.55 gears so EGTs are a little higher than stock tires.

look at my sig and see what I got I am happy with it but if I was going to get a new turbo I would probably go with a htb2 62/12 .

Strictly Bling and too small, IMO!
You will probably want one of the S300 variations with a 64 compresssor housing. Your biggest decision will be turbine housing size. With your tires I would stay with a smaller 12-13 cm equivalent (for spoolup) and live with some EGT problems at WOT.... unless playing hard is your primary concern.

Look into a 62mm compressor and a 80 turbine.... The two main contenders would be II or HTT. Either makes great turbos and they fit right into the HP you are wanting to run.

Doug, when you say 80 turbine, you are refering to a 71mm wheel or .80 ar on the housing?

I'm guessing the 71mm wheel that both II and HTT use. I just hear people call it 80 and not sure why.

Thats the one. The turbo you linked to is a 62 with a 65mm turbine and is comparable to a phatshaft 62. The ht71 or super phatshafts use the 71 mm turbine.

Doug sells them all- click the link in his sig
