Which Turbo if YOU owned my truck
I am wondering which turbo you would have on my truck if you owned it? I am having some egt issues when I got WOT. It takes a matter of seconds for the pyro to peg 1600. I will be swaping the gears this weekend from 3.54 to 4.10 which should help a bit because of the 37's.
I am looking for a fun street truck, that will run good at the track, pull the sled pretty good and still tow.
I am thinking something along the lines of a 62/71/14 but I am not sure. I have searched this to death LOL
Oh yeah stock HG and not studs yet
Thanks,
Paul

a 62/71/12 because you have an auto and you will want the smaller housing for spool. keep it wastegated down to 40psi until you get studs.
also...i hope your pockets are deep if you plan on pulling the sled with 6.5" lift and 37" swampers because your driveshafts, axles, and pinion shaft may decide they would rather separate than spin those meats.
I broke a transfer case, and dana 80 last year because I was running 35" tires with big tread lugs, i dropped to 33" BFG AT's and have pulled further with no carnage

I would have to say a 62/12 is about one of the best all around turbo's you can get. Then I'd say the next in line would be the BD super B. The 62/12 has a very wide HP range you dont have to make crazy power to run it, but I daily drove mine at 500+HP for over a year and it towed half way across country twice.
