I think I should be getting bout 30 pounds of boost(edge EZ w/ boost elbow from kit installed). I am only getting 20. I have been told i am leaking boost from the hoses. I plan to get new hoses (from DSM piping). any comments(should i use new clamps etc.)

 

Is the truck blowing alot of black smoke??That is one indication of bad boost..You should be getting 30 PSI plus....Check your boost hoses...As for clamps,it's your call...I still have the orginals,but if you want to replace them,they are not very expensive..(priness auto)

Also check your intercooler for leaks...One fellow here had a small hole in his cooler..

 

Cheap hairspray sprayed on the boots before installing helps keep them from blowing off but still easy to remove later if needed.
Then you can reuse your old clamps.
