turbo and downpipe?

im looking to get a nice 4" downpipe to take care of the mcdonald's straw of an elbow thats on my truck now but if i upgrade the turbo down the road, will i have to change the downpipe as well? or will it bolt right up? i still have a stock turbo for now due to a lack of fiscal resources but the down pipe isnt that expensive (at least when you compare it to a turbo).

The downpipe for the hx-35 won't work on a bigger turbo with a hx-40 style downpipe such as a B2.

No eric, if you upgrade the DP now, it wont work with most of the aftermarket turbos out there.

you are looking at a bit of money (200-300 bucks) for a 4" exhaust system, then just the DP can be swapped to an HX40 style flange to fit an aftermarket turbo for another $140 or so.

hit me up on AIM one night and I can help you out.
