turbo choices

turbo choices
I've been on here for a while now just reading, so I figured I'd ask a question that never seems to get asked.
I've been looking around at different chargers lately, and would like your guys ideas.
I want something that will be good for a street truck with no towing.
With my TSTpm3/puck stack and DDP's 275hp injectors along with supporting mods ive come up with a couple of options.
1)Super stock 62
Is this to little? I was thinking that this should be a pretty quick setup with the box down for normal driving, and then short bursts of higher settings. Or will it get hot to fast?
2)40/b2 twins
I'm comfortable in building them my self. I'm just afraid I might be underestimating the cost once the little stuff gets added in? And i'm still a little hazy on whats required.
3)something different?

HTT has dyno graphs showing a super 62 vs 35/3b twins on Dave Dunbar's truck. The twins made a whole lot more torque at low rpms while the single made more overall power at higher rpms.
Getblown5.9 is running a silver bullet with his big ddp sticks and its a great combo for a stick.

The 62's are rated somewhere around 525. You could make more, but with high egts.
Here's Blackdiesel's video with mach 6's and a super 62:

He does a roll on at the end and you can see for yourself how spool and egts are.

That video is impressive-- not the burnout part, but the in-cab scene.
He's rolling into it with M6s and a TST comp (very hot fueling for a 24V) and barely kissing 1400 at 100mph.
Sounds like this turbo might work very well with some cooler-running M4s and a fueling box. Smoke should be really low if you aren't running the smarty on kung Fu.
The turbo seems really responsive in that case, and smoke is due to huge injectors and super-aggressive fueling.
That vid is seriously making me reconsider what I thought about the HTT ss62.

Dzlfarmboy, what do you mean by grow? Fuel wise, or with how I want to drive it?
I'm usually on the lower side of the rpm's once it's in gear.
When would twins of that size be nice? Just towing with mild horsepowr?

Fuel wise i meant, if your going to stay with you stack and ddp 275's then a 62/65/12 would be a good spooling supporting turbo for a nice street ride.

I was looking at getting the SS 62 and have looked for a vid of how fast it will light and still have not found one.

Objection, Your Honor! Assumes facts not in evidence!
Sorry-- SPS62 it is!
If that 14 housing spools that well, I'm thinking the HTT 16SS housing might be doable with a manual trans!
So now I'm wondering if it's better to go a larger housing on the 71 wheel (HTT) or the 14 housing on the larger wheel (74mm)?
Methinks the former is better than the latter for overall efficiency.
