Turbo boost HELP....pls
i have a 99 dodge ram with 300 hp injectors, industrial injection sho injection pump, 5 inch exhaust, and a new air intake. these parts were all recently put on and now i have an engine code that says something like "boost pressure exceeded" what should i get or what could i do to fix this? and has anyone had this problem and what did you do? thanks for all the help in advance

here is what chrysler says
Symptom:
P-0234 TURBO BOOST LIMIT EXCEEDED (OBDII)
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P-0234 TURBO BOOST LIMIT EXCEEDED (OBDII)
When Monitored: Ignition on.
Set Condition: Engine Speed >2200 RPM, No intake air pressure sensor out of range
DTC’s present.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
WASTEGATE MECHANICAL FAILURE
WASTEGATE STUCK

DRIVEABILITY
Symptom:

overboost code, Sounds like you need a boost fooler, or if you have a performance box"edge,tst,etc" the boost fooling part might not be working. what other mods do you have?

i dont remember the exact code and i do have a bully box from bully dog that im going to be hooking up tomorrow. i was thinking that the bully box might fix it

i dont see any gauges listed...could be an expensive mistake to not have them!!
yep, get that bully dog box on there and you wont throw the code anymore.
without the box, driving it hard will raise your boost beyond the factory spec and cause the code.
