What do you do with your truck? I run 66/71 and a 66/74 , youll never tow any heavy stuff with it and the auto. And they kinda stink with the tight converter unless smoking all day long doesnt bother you. They are awesome for playing hard tho.

Both are 14cms. Ive had both on the 99 witch is my driver /toyfull time. Its got a georend auto with 4.10s. I had a real tight converter on it and it getting swapped out tonight with a 1900-2000 stall. The 66-74 is on an 06 six speed habd shaker now so its not a problem there. What do you want to do with your truck?

If you dont have many hills or mountains up there go for it. I cant go up any hills with out being in 3rd and the rpms screamin, in od it will bury the pyro in 5 seconds on any kind of grade. Only way in over drive is if im at 2200 or more rpm and that almost 80 mph, which is no good. On the flat its alot of fun tho.

Dont you think the 13 will spool up faster? Also the housing is stainless which disapates heat alot faster then a big chunk of cast iron.

The stainless is designed to retain heat, not dissipate it. The walls of the stainless housing are much thicker than an iron housing. Retaining heat equals more energy to the turbine.

62/65/14 or maybe a 62/71/14 is the biggest I would want to run pulling.

I've heard good and bad about spool with the SS housings. Buy it for the huge wastegate or its ability to withstand higher temps than the cast iron, but not necessarily for, "better spool up." Having the big gate can be an advantage if you want to run nitrous or build twins, but the regular housings are fine for most.

Yes, an S400 under either one of those would be a great twin set.
