Question Turbine housing???

Would the 16cm turbine housing from TST be enough of a boost gain to accomplish 450 hp or would I need to go with a better turbo?? And is that is the case what is a good single turbo to upgrade to?? That doesnt cost an arm and a leg Any help please????

A housing isn't going to do much for 450hp. You will need a turbo.

You won't get a boost gain from the bigger housing. You'll get an EGT reduction. Same air in, just easier out.

And much slower spool. You need something around the size of a HX-40. It has a 60mm wheel. You can get an upgrade for your turbo from HTT to put a 60mm wheel on your turbo. And yes the H1C, WH1C, HX-35, and HX-40 use the same exhaust wheel and shaft so having a full 40 dose not make it any stronger than a hybrid. But you can use a 14cm exhaust housing and get good EGT's and fast spool. With a full 40 you can only go down to a 16cm and it had to much lag on a friends truck.

I have the 60mm wheel on my wh1c, it will never be able to support 450hp.

In my oppinion it is good to about 325 ish on a 12 valve.
