okay so i agreed on the 01,
what year trucks have the same basic tuners that will work? i l look on ebay and the had the Quadzilla XZT+ but thats the only one i found. is that one any good? im not looking for a ton of power, just a suitable dd with some extra power and a little better mpgs?

What trans? Auto was not HO.
There are differences with tuners thru the years because dodge used different map sensors with different plugs.
You can just buy the map sensor that fits your tuner, or an adapter cord.
