I saw that on their web site too, and called their tech support, because the one that I have starts to defuel (heavily) at 3400 rpm. Their tech support person told me that, the 4500rpm was a mis-print on their web site, and he has been trying to get it changed. He verified that 3400 is all I should be getting. The way he explained it to me, is that tapping the pump wire controls how long the solenoid can be held closed. The pump wire doesn't control when it opens. He said that they still keep the solenoid closed above 3400 rpm (they don't cut it back), but the pump module cuts it's side of the solenoid. I had assumed until then that the pump wire that we tap was the only control of the solenoid. Guess not... Paul
