TST PowerMax3 vs PowerMaxCE

Was looking into buying a TST to run with my smarty and had a couple of q's.
1) What is the CE upgrade?
2) Why is it not recommended with my HO
3) Which is recommended for me to get?

Thanks

I believe the CE is for the 3rd Gen. Common Rail engines.
If you want a TST, get the PowerMax 3 Comp with remote....it's the top power wise, and fuels real hard on #9

TST calls their Common Rail box the PMCR, I don't know what CE stands for.

1) Competition edition will fuel sooner and harder
2) Because the HO VP44 can't keep up and will render the upper levels useless
3) Get a smarty first then a pm3 later =P

Have the smarty already looking to give it another step up .... So I guess the PM3 with control will be it... Should be a good combo with the smarty correct??

Smarty with the TST PM3 is an excellent combo. That combo fuels harder than the Edge Comp/Smarty...at least on an HO, it has. Either way it's an excellent combo!
I prefer the Smarty timing to that of the Edge boxes and the TST gives great adjustability..... will fuel hard on higher settings.

Smarty+TST+Mach 4s-- A proven combo with great manners, controllable smoke, and lots of versatility. Incredible kick in the nuts
