I need some opinions before I spend any more money! I am running a Blue Chip Special X pump with a Edge Comp and found out that there is waaaay too much timing with the combo of pump and Edge so I'm looking for a fuel only box. Looking pretty hard at the TST, sounds like what I'm looking for and don't seem to be many issues with it. Does anyone on here run the SXVP with a heavy fueling box? How does it run? Any issues with running a wiretap on this pump? I hate to kill a $2000 pump (again)!

I had a Special X pump on my 99 and Blue Chip's FMS box. He actually recommended I get a timing box, so I stacked a Quad XZT+ box with it. Never had any issues at all. It was a great combo.

I would talk to chip, after all the pump is coming from them. see what they would recommend. and warranty with a tap

Yeah, I suppose I better call Chip before doing anything! I am surprised that he recommended a timing box with that pump. I had my Comp on level 1 and accidentally lugged it a little and holy cow that thing had some rattle! Definetly wasn't normal!

What sub level was the Comp on?

I think it was 1x3? Why, do the sublevels have anything to do with the timing? Regardless, the Comp is already off the truck so I need something new. It sucks to drive with no boost fooling!
