TST #8 Installed..question tho
I put a TST #8 fuel plate in today and I'm kinda jazzed about that. Didn't give me any problems and was a whole lot simpler than I thought it would be, even after reading all you guys advice (which did help-A LOT!). I don't seem to have a lot of smoke, just about a 2 second puff of black if you stand on it. It that about right? Should I just leave the wheel alone for now and see how it goes?
Thanks,
Wayne

I still need to get the valves adjusted and find someone that can tweek the timing. After that, I'll see how much I can do with the wheel. I am such a newbie at this, I can't believe I am doing this, but someone said it (the BOMBing) is attictive.

Be careful on sliding the plate without guages. I had mine slid about .060 and could easily hit 1400* at the top end of 3rd gear running empty. You might want to get some guages, especially if you're towing.

Thanks berner,
I'm in the process of getting some from Geno's. I'm trying to go with Isspro but I wanted them to match the dash gauges. Geno's is just starting to carry the Isspro line so they don't have all in stock. Till then, I will forego the towing and try to be as light on the pedal as I can.
