So we should kill all other trucks, other than our VP trucks?

Once my VP44 dies I'm P pumping mine. I know it means losing the Smarty and Juice but I can more than take up for with the all the goodies you can fit in a P7100.

The VP-44 is the only junk pump ever put on a "B" cummins . The VE on my 1st gen went over 500K befor it started leeking . I have a seal kit on the way for $15 . Sounds like someone just wishes they had a P-7100 or CP3. If you buy a 24-valve put a fuel guage and pusher pump on as soon as you get it.

Dumb question. How much messing around would it take to run a CP3 instead of a VP44 or is impossible? Probablt easier to put in a 3rd gen motor, harness and computer in a 2nd gen. That gives me an idea....

Yea pretty much cheaper to put in the whole thing. CP3 motors have everything pretty much different (injectors, head, harness, etc..)

Has anyone tried to exchange motors. That would be so sweet to have a super quiet 2001 Dodge Cummins...

The CP3 feeds a high pressure rail. The injectors are controlled by the computer you would have to change out the hole thing. Guages prob not work also. It would be cool.

Why doesn't anyone ve-pump their 2nd gen? You'd still get variable timing.
