Truck died

I've been having an intermittent problem with my truck losing power at around 2100-2200rpm's and when I back out of it, it comes back to life. Well today it started to loose power but when I backed out of it, it did not help. I then pushed the clutch in and it would sort of rev up but not much. It was sputtering and then I finallt tried to let it idle. When I did that, it died. It started right back up though and did ok for a little wile untill I got back up to 2100 or so in any gear. The LP was just replaced. I just got my gauges in the mail but haven't got 'em put in yet. This sounds like a fuel problem, but there is no white smoke, that i can see when it does this. The exhaust is cut off underneath the truck, but I figure there would be a noticeable amout of white smoke, which there was none. I'm in Seguin now, which is 100 mile from home. BTW: It only seems to do this real bad after the engine is hot. Any ideas?? This is really annoying! Thanks

It's getting worse. Today I made a trip that usually takes 2 hrs, in 4 hours. I would have to pull over every 5 miles or so because anything above 2000 RPM's would just sputter and die. I'd have to pull over to the side of the road and restart it and then I could go for a few more miles. I couldn't keep 55mph going up a hill and barley on flat ground. Sometimes if I would put it in neutral, when it would start to sputter, I could feather the throttle just to keep it running untill it recovered and I could go again. Sometimes I would have the throttle on the floor and it would only go to 1200RPM's. Tank is full. It only does it when the engine is hot. This is my main thing...WHY? How bad are the LP's about going bad. I didn't think the 12v LP's were bad about it. Someone, HELP!!

Well, I got the fuel pressure gauge hooked up today. Tapped into the top of the filter housing. When the engine is cold at idle:13-15psi. Any load on the engine (ie: taking off from a stop) 5-0psi. When the engine is warm at idle:5psi. Any load whatsoever, when warm, will drop it to 0. I need a LP. Thankfully it's not anything major!
