Anyone have any experience with these?

says they will support 1000 ft lbs which is way more then my plans are for

You are taking your chances with anything but a big name transmission builders parts. I know they arent the only ones who can build transmissions, but its not something you want to do twice.
It says the stall is stock on that converter, but it can be lowered. Whatever you do dont buy a stock stall converter.

If you put enough pressure to it, a single disk will also hold a 1000 ft lbs but most trans don't have that...so a single disk will slip. Adding more surface area doesn't stop it from slipping, adding more pressure and keeping it there through the gear shift does. Stay with a name brand tried & true mfg or work with your local trans shop on a daily basis.

Big Deezul. If I were you I would not order from them. Ordered a built tranny off ebay from a company that is supposedly a branch or partner with redline and I obviously will not be receiving my tranny. Shop closed up and no one is answering after they got my 2900 dollars. So like these guys are saying pay the extra and get what you are paying for. I just learned the hard way.
