Have to agree on the stall. Turbo is not going to light in that high of gear with the low stall. So, pull one gear down or get the convertor. If you have the setup to hit 25+MPH you will do well. Momentum is huge at the top of the track.

I emailed dave and hes gonna set me up with a higher stall converter. Then mabey ill be all rite. Anybody have input on how it is driving a high stall converter on the street?

slamming itto the floor!
Im gonna run it at the strip in 2 weeks to see if i can hit 12s but im not shure if i can with this converter. Its very hard to build boost on the line, at 8lb i cant hold the truck still anymore, it starts lurching. In 2 wd if i just stomp on it from a stop it starts spooling in 2nd and when it shifts to third it just burns the rears off. I love the way it drives on the street with the low stall, but i think im just taking it off the street and just pulling with it. Ill call Dave G. and see what we can arrange for me.
