Transmission Advice
My transmission was recently ran dry by my wife (she blew up my last truck too), and i think the tranny is need of rebuild so I can up the power a bit. What would be your recommendation for a great rep.d rebuild shop/company. I want it done RIGHT, so when i finally get up into the 500+ hp area, the transmission doesnt once again become a problem.

This question has been discussed ad nauseum in previous threads. If you do a search you will find many days of reading, the trick is to determine what your goal is and which posts are factual.

How long did you drive with a dry tranny? I would try some ATF + into her and see. If she was bone dry and driven, your more than likely done. I've driven some trannies low. They usally slip, lots. If you keep driving the truck, Your clutchs are done. I would go with DTT. Top shop. A good rebuild tranny nothing big, expensive. 500rwhp, unless your racing or towing heavy. A nearly anybody's tranny and converter would work.
