Valve body upgrade all the way. I'm running one from DTT and it's great. It's holding a 100+hp injectors with a comp on 2x2 with the wire tapped great. Stock torque converter to. Although the valve body is more expensive, I went with it instead of a shift kit because that way I know that the pressures are set correctly, shift points are correctly adjusted, everything is assembled correctly, and it will work from the minute I put it in. Not to mention that it does have a warranty where as a shift kit that you install probably won't. Call up Stefan at DTT. He'll set ya up with everything you need and nothing you don't.

I have a transgo, and it was well worth the $50 I payed for it; but i need the extra pressure for my torque converter to hold now; so I will be upgrading to a Valve body sometime within the next 6 months or so probably. Also; the transgo shift's to soon under light throttle, and doesent downgear enough. When i pull into my road, it should downgear into 2nd, but it holds 3rd. It doesent really hurt anything, but it "should" be in 2nd. I sure am glad I spent the $50 on my transgo, but I am ready for a full VB now.

I agree with Blue. Go with the VB. I used to have a Trans-go shift kit and now have a DTT VB - Night and day difference! The trans-go had a mind of its own and wouldn't downshift unless I was at a crawl. DTT goes to 1st at about 17mph - no more extra smokey starts when rolling through stop signs. My trans-go would also go into limp mode every once in a blue moon for no reason (yes the resistor was correct) and it was installed by a well known Diesel guru. I can only imagine how it would have run, or not, if I installed it
