transgo shift kit
I just thought this was interesting, apparantly transgo has heard of shift bind-up, know what thread I'm talking about??<br>Rick<br><br>TF-1<br><br>Torqueflite<br>l960 up<br>Crisper shifts with greater durability. There is a hole you have to drill in the VB for that 2-3 shift fix. I installed the TFOD kit in my truck and had some issues with it shifting properly, I really have to say, shift kits for gassers work, our trucks with the massive amount of torque need the right tranny to be succesful and long living.

Hi RickCJ<br>Transgo makes those kits for the earlier model 3 speed tranny.The 3 speeders have the nasty habit of applying second and third gears at the same time! Their kits are a great cure for that problem, but I believe D.C. correct most of that situation when they turned the trans into a 4 speed.<br><br>Tony

yep, I too did a search on the 'net and found that the 2-3 bind up existed in 1960....
ALOT of people said they had never even heard of such a thing.... [undecided]
