Trans troubles, please help

My preacher has a 99 24valve with an auto trans. It has been acting up on him lately. He says that sometimes it feels like it wants to start out in 2nd gear, and sometimes when he comes to a stop the converter wants to stay locked. Any idea what it could be?

Does it stall the truck out? Detail's on the truck Stock/Modded?

Truck has an edge comp on it. It has a full goerend trans in it w/ triple disc converter.

Call dave up and talk to him, when i had problems with my last tranny from him (the one I blew up) he sent me gov psi seleniod and sensor for nothing to try out. He will help you as much as he possibly could, When ever its starts in second thats the problem.
