Tranny upgrades?

If I do a rebuild, what can be done to it for added durability?
Its an auto for a 98.5, 2wd.

A search will net you more info than you can read in one sitting.

A new converter and valve body to start with.

You talking 'rebuild' or 'upgrade'? You mention both. Big difference between the two in my mind.

Rebuild will give you a new stock tranny.
Upgrades will give better durability and more power to the rear wheels.... at a greater expense.

After market valve body would be your biggest gain without getting into serious money.
