Tranny Problem

Ok i think my tranny is going but im not sure. i will be driving and then it will shift into OD around 45mph and when i go to give it some fuel it acts like it wants to shift out then it doesn't and keeps doing it. Today it also does it doing 30mph and from 45-55mph. When it does this the rpms jump a little bit so any suggestions or comments greatly apreciated

search the forums, look at the sticky for "common problems" not guessing what your problem is but i would first look at your tp sensor

oh, didnt notice your a 24v but in the 12v section there is a sticky about common problems and a couple of them about the tp problems. anyway the tp sensor is kind of notorius for conditions like you mentioned and the 24v is basically the same as far as the tranny goes.

sounds like the t/c locking and unlocking. the o/d shouldn't come on til after 40mph if i am right. mine does this also and there have been others before us. most have traced it back to a ground issue. i would suggest cleaning batt terms and any and all grounds you can find on the truck. if that don't work there is a mod to run a new wire to the pcm on the firewall from the tps i think. these are the things i will try if replacing my batteries don't fix it. just need to make them last to the middle of next month.

Sounds like the TC is slipping.
Have you done any mods to the trans? I put a VB & TC in mine and it works great.

Valve Body, Torque Converter.
Depends which brand you go with. Goerends, DTT, Suncoast, Garmon, HTS, there are lots of different brands to choose from. All depends on how much you wanna spend.
I went cheap and have no regrets. Once you figure out what you wanna go with we can put in the parts @ the Cave.
