TPS shot
Found out that my TPS is shot, according to check engine code. Can anyone suggest a good replacement? Thanks! DTR, this is a great website, has definitely helped me out with my new truck that has turned into a nightmare!

tps know as your apps. check into timbo's apps. around 160 for his. a oem apps replacements go for 3-450. check with this site on the DTR store link. if they dont have I'm sure they can get it just ask them.

you can also clean it, out of the 3 ive seen bad a cleaning is all it took to fix them.. i cut mine open and sprayed it with electrical cleaner, glued it together and its been fine since.. another buddy thought his tranny was fubar'ed, i told him to clean the TPS and his troubles went away..

you can drill a small hole and wash it out with brake clean
