Thats what I want to do...35/14 with a HT3B or S400, mach 4's, Smarty and TST. Should be an awesome towing setup, and still be pretty quick. What twins variation do you plan to run?

smarty/tst/mach1.6's makes a good tow setup, with twins you could probably run mach 4's

on edit: Caleb beat me to it. must learn to type faster

i dont know if i should go with the hx-35/ht3b or hx-40/ht3b or hx-35/s400 or hx-40/s400 or b1/b2 or what. Any suggestions? id like to buy a set but id rather spend a couple extra weeks and work on it (do it myself) and save 2 grand then shell out the 4500-5000 for the kit.

Isn't a Mach 6 too big to see any advantage from a HO pump? I dont know but I thought a set of 4's was about all a Non-HRVP44 can supply?

But yeah, we are on the same page as far as the twins go, I just cant afford to pay that much for a finished kit. I am hoping to have the same combo you mentioned above with the only exception being no drugs.

well, i figure that my vp-44 will go out again sometime, then ill replace it with a hot rod pump. then she'll support mach 6's and a tst.

i want the propane injection because i can pull up to the propane tank outside the house and fill up from there get a little better fuel milage and 50ish give-or-take hp.

i want the water meth so i can keep her really cool and another few hp

Maybe not. The hrvp will make more power with smaller injectors. 4's or 5's are all you need- unless Don wants to make a HRVP injector. I'll test them

I'd think the m6's would be overkill for the Ho VP44 and the hrvp. I'm waiting to see how Tiger Rag's truck performs with his new m6's.

Look at Don's comments here: https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=101333

Boy I hate to say this, but if you tow anything with the mach 6'ers your gonna have egt's issues. I can peg the pyro pegged empty. I tried towing once, ouchy this injectors are way to hot. I would run a 130rwhp sized injector with my twins. The spool-up is slower, but the egt's are controllable. There guys out there saying you can run BD twins with their smallish 150 injectors. I don't believe it. My twins are bigger than the BD set and I'm sure that my egt's would be pegged towing anything heavy. Go figure.

35/3b

is the cheapest way to go and from what i understand, its very good on EGTS, good to about 60-65 lbs boost max, but very towable.. its teh setup im lookin at, if u put a 40 up top, u might be able to get 70-75 lbs of reliable boost... with water meth to cool it off, and propane, i think ull be fine with ur current injectors, and ull be way into the 500 horse range... and towable...

I know merrick cummings current dually, goes by MCummings on here is running a sweet towing setup. with a 40 on top and he is at 522/1025 or somethin like that.

Are your rear tires touching your deck? Thats a easy load for a cummins and still would be able to pass most of the empty fords (of course) on the hills. Nice trailer, I sure could put it to use.
