Towing with a HTT 1362?

Anyone doing any 10K + towing with this HTT turbo? Just wondering how the spool up is and egt control.

65mm drive wheel and 62mm extended tip compressor wheel with the 13cm Stainless Steel Alloy turbine housing.

Mine dosent tow well at altitude, its not a 13ss, rather a 12. but towing 18500 gross when the outside temps were warm, I had temp issues.....

Sounds like I might be better off with some twins. Elevation range I drive in is 4500 to 9000ft. It would be nice on the mountain passes to be at speed limit or above with manageable EGT's.

On a cool night I was able to hold 65 on cruse, same load 65-70*day at 65 My water temp was standing at the 3/4 mark before I took my exit. the problem I had was the egt temp at 1100* for the 3-4 mile pull

in 5th gear at 65

I believe we altitude challenged folks need higher drive pressure to do the work, my truck drives awesome, and I can use all my power, but not towing on a warm day.... its to bad.....

Yeah I hear ya. Warm days pulling the passes is brutal. I plan on getting my pump work done first then setting myself up for a new turbo and bigger injectors. I want to be able to do them heavy pulls at 70 and maintain the EGT's.
