A totally different truck!

I went to TST in Columbus, IN. today to get my new ATS stage IV tranny installed. I also got a #5 fuel plate to boot. All I can say is wow, it is amazing how much better the tranny is than the stock one. It just puts the power to the ground no if, ands or buts. I went with the ATS because I liked how my truck performed while the tc was locked. I went with TST because they are some super nice people that will take time to answer any questions you may have even if they allready told you once.
To anyone thinking of a new tranny go ahead and do it you will not be disappointed. I'm sure any of the other brands will make you just as happy as I am, I believe it was money well spent. I will have to take some time to figure it out and drive a little more, but so far ;D ;D ;D ;D.

Re:A totally different truck!

After going to work today in the rain, I went to pass a car that I had been following for 4 miles doing 40mph in a 55mph zone I opened it up a little to get around her and away it goes then shifts into 3rd gear and starts going sideways . This thing is great it seems to be in the right gear all the time, and when you get on it even without it being locked up it takes off right now.
By the way on the drive up to Columbus and back I got 22.7mpg running around 70mph a new high. I will get some mpg figures after the new of the tranny wears off and I can keep my foot out of it. I would expect it to be better since it is in lockup more often now.
Bowhunter any time you want let me know. I wouldn't call it a beast(yet ) but it is getting better all the time.
