Torque plate & 3K GSK Install
Good Evening with my J.D. and Coke --- As you may have been noticeing, there is a transformation going on the ole '96. Question---I am ready to install the #10 fuel plate and the 3K GSK. Is there an advantage to installing both at the same time???---or is it better to take one step at a time to avoid mixing complications???
Thanks Again
Mike and J.D.

I'd do one at a time and drive it. If something pops up you'll know what more than likely caused the problem. The plate only takes a few minutes if you've had one out before and the GSk only takes about an hour. While you've got the AFC of you may as well tune that also.

Thanks---It is nice to see people that take things one step at a time. But, as I am new at this, what is the AFC ??? Hope I don't seem??? well you know!!!!!
Thanks
Mike

It's what sits on top of the governor housing and you have to remove it to install the fuel plate. In short, a boost line goes to the back of it, and that dictates when the AFC arm inside begins to move (modifications can be made to attain more travel than stock by the arm). That's the short version (at least how I've understood it in my limited experience).
