Been above 110 but was too busy watching my EGT's to pay real close attention to speed. Handling was impressive - very stable. Was still pulling but getting too hot. Always wondered about 24v defueling but only time I expirienced it was full throttle, with my OD off (by mistake) and was so surprised I never looked at RPM. What is the defueling rpm suppose to be?

96 with the empty trailer, started to defuel. Around here never dared to take it up higher. Also at 96 the half ton gasser that had been trashing me, moved over. Guess that was his introduction to Cummins

Mid 90's before I put the 3KGSK in, since then I have seen 105 but was still climbing. More than fast enough to get a ticket.

Just keep an eye on things. with my 3k gsk I top out at like 94mph & 3400rpm. I did it once and wont do it again without work. The egt's sky rocket, and without HD intake valve springs (98's allready have HD exhaust valve springs) you run the risk of doing some nasty things when stuff starts floating because you way over reved.

Yeah, I should be alright, 3.55 gears. All I need is about 10-15mph, which is only about 400rpm. She dies quick at 2500, no more!

Tuesday morning made a mach 3 110mph bomb run with a guy running a 12v. Bailed in behind him coming off a gravel road. Stayed at about 70 then hit the main road and speedo started climbing. At 90 he stabbed it to pass a car and chunked out a good cloud of soot. Tally ho, I'm in. Right on him. 110 for about 5 miles down a good stretch of road. Still felt like there was more pedal. Ride wasn't spooky at all, real smooth.

Got to another main road, got up along side him and shot him thumbs up. He just gave me a dirty look. Too bad, cool truck, not a lot of modded trucks up here.


In hindsite it was pretty stupid, 10 ply's aren't made for that kind of running. A blow out wouldn't of been too cool. Not to mention all the deer and the cops.

Had a duracrap try to race me on the interstate on time. So we took off! He had me in takeoff. But when I got er' going she was buried at 120 and I blew past the duracrap when his gov hit the limit. This was even before I added the edge ez. Don't think I will ever run that fast again though.

with my drag comp now it pulls an even 180km/hr(actually it was still going up a bit , but that was enough for me) on the speedo but since I got 285's it should be doing an even 195km/hr


that's about 120 MPH for you american folks
