Tool Box Option

Looking for tool boxes for my 03 and wondering of what other people might know of that is out their. I want to keep the full bed width, so no cross boxes.<br><br>I was thinking of something like these originaly but I want them to be in front of the wheel wells, not back:<br><br><br><br>Then I came across this which looks good too, but what ever I get I want in Alum or Stainless. Not plastic or painted.<br><br>

Another mfg. you should check is Weatherguard . Theymake 2 different width porkchop boxes; 65 and 75 lbs attesting to their build quality. $$$

Yes, that style only comes in white. Their diamondplate aluminum boxes are fantastic. No clouding or crazing.

Good lookin stuff but I don't want anything that sticks up above the bed rails. I know, I am harder to shop for then a women Atleast I know what I want, but like usual no one makes it.....

Betterbuilt makes the over the wheel well boxes you are looking for. They come in sizes to fit either in front of the wheel wells or in the rear of the wells. They are aluminum. Believe it or not, Wal Mart special orders them. You can also order them from Northern Tools. Northern Tools has a website, so maybe you can check them out there

I had the plastic side boxes pictured above in my Ferd dually. I really liked them, but Mopar Mudder is right, I did some reinforcing to make them stiffer, they were a bit flimsy. Looks like they have been modified since I had mine to make them more sturdy, though. They are a great idea. If they came in aluminum, I'd probably buy a set for my Ram.
