Too high of fuel pressure?

Well everyone, just came back from my trip to the desert for a little over a year and had a bunch of things waiting for me to put in the red rocket. I put my banjo bolts on and hooked up the fuel pressure gauge. I hooked the gauge up at the input of the fuel filter. I have a carter pusher pump as well. At idle I see 23 psi and at wot I see 15psi. Is this too high? I just want to make sure that everything is where it needs to be. Thanks

I don't see a problem with 23 psi...as long as you don't have any starting problems. Some members have said that over 18 psi causes difficulty starting...not true in all cases.

Can't tell you if it's too high for you but that is exactly what I have seen with my Carter pusher for quite awhile now. Stocker LP seems to be living longer now with the pusher behind it.

Been running exactly those same numbers for over a year now -- Holley Red pusher to the LP. Zero problems.
