Question TMVO 1989-1998 Jake Brake for 88-98 --- How much?

I can't find a price anywhere... Bridgeway quoted me $1600 installed...

Seems steep.

That sounds about right. They were about $1200 with no install when they first came out several years ago.
If the $400 install includes changing the valve springs I'd call it a good deal.

They say I don't need the 60# springs, and I asked them to double check, he said no...

Ah yes, you have a '97 with the 60s
It's no longer such a good deal on the labor.
I'd consider it to be a three hour job tops.

They're asking 907 something, so yep, the install is pretty pricey

That's something I'm not quite sure of. Best bet would be to ask someone who sells exhaust brakes. Pretty sure all '97s have 60s but not sure when the change occurred. Many of the changes Cummins has made seem to overlap model years.
