I agree with Blue, mine look nothing like the ones pictured. I don't think rotor heating will be a problem using the centramatics.

For some reason I think I recall them not being recommended for trailers that do not have suspension - assuming your travel trailer has springs you'd be fine.

Wow!!! This is great - I'm calling tomorrow - shucks that's saturday. I've had the beads in two sets of tires and it kind of sucks if you get a nail and need to patch from the inside - the tire jocky's just blow out the beads if you don't warn them and baby sit too.

The other thing I've heard is the centramatics help out with hub/axle imbalance a bit. If I leave the bead in and put the centramatics on would they counteract each other???

I've never used beads. My last tire set was balanced with Hunter Road Force and the impressive results kept me on lead.
A buddy of mine swore by beads. His new set of Toyos with beads rode really bad. He dumped the beads; tried Road Force balancing; and never looked back.

Call tomorrow anyway. They are a full service tire store also and had some pretty good prices. I don't think you would have a problem running both but I don't know for sure.

Never tried it myself but heard it works.
I know a guy that was running 325/75R16 Michelin Military's and he ran antifreeze with good results. That is a fairly large heavy tire that is hard to balance.

I never tried them before but....
I just ordered a set of beads from Inovative so we will see how they work.
I too hate what the stock type weights do to the rims more than anything.

My brother from Idaho had never heard of Road Force balancing. He was here last Easter and and I took him to a local tire shop and it cleared up a bad vibration from new Bridgestones on his P-Stroke.

JJW talked to Innovative about the issues with his Toyos and the beads. The only theory (after checking rim soap, wet air, etc.) was the Toyos were very rough inside with lots of mold lines and causing the beads to clump or get disturbed while trying to distribute.
This is the only unresolved bead failure I've heard about other than installer failure.

Beads appears to be your best option at this point. Give it a try

Most the questions about beads you're all asking are answered here
http://www.innovativebalancing.com/news.htm

Thinking about the super low price Centramatics are going for now makes me wonder if the reason is they are losing lots of business to beads...

The Road Force Balancing worked for me when I could get it done for $25 a tire but they went up to $100 an axle. Problem is if you loose a weight you are out the whatever they want to charge you again. MHO - I'm going with something that installs once and you're done.

Loose a weight or get a rock in your tire, or mud on the rim, or even tire wear will throw the balance off. Try the beads, they work.
