Throttle stumble with Quadzilla Adrenaline and/or Edge Comp Drag??

I picked up a surge a while back and here was my remedy. I reset the APPS using a multimeter (do a search for the procedure if you don't know how). That helped some. Next I changed the Map and IAT sensors. All was well after that. I think between those things you'll be heading in the right direction. Also as previously mentioned, change your fuel filter if you haven't recently. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I did a APPS reset and it fixed her up 100%. I also checked the AIT sensor but it was clean as a whistle. If it does it again, I'll have to replace the APPS. Brett, it was a November or December issue of diesel world or 8 lug if I remember right. I should have just bought it and gave it to ya, sorry bud...

That's good news, mine's doing the same thing and I thought it might just the TPS out of whack since I'm not throwing any pump codes and FP is rock solid. I'll have to check/reset it tonight.

Driving down back to work, gave her full throttle hard run to see if I still had any stumble at high rpm's. Let off the throttle and it was like somebody turned the key off??? I have plenty of fuel as I have checked the FASS delivery so that's not it. All fuses are good. Could it be a relay?

No codes, that's the weird thing. I don't want to spend $600.00 on an APPS if it's not the problem. I don't have any box hooked up so that's out of the question. I'm stumped!!! I'll try to crack some lines first to see if it's the VP44.

Loosen injector lines 3 and 4 at the head. Bump the starter to get the lift pump to run. Do this about half a dozen times, then crank and make sure you have fuel coming out of the loose injector lines. Tighten up the lines and start the pickup up. It will run a little rough at first until the air gets out of the other lines. The injector lines need to be pretty loose (or at least it helps if they are).
Try not to lift so quick in the future... I keep a 19mm wrench in the door just for this reason.
