Those in the know, help me pick
I'm looking to buy a fueling only box to stack with my
Van Aaken V5 that I really like, and don't want to get
rid of. Whats the best dollar vs HP fueling only box out
there. I starting to lean towards the Blue Chip APB. It's
only $495.00. I won't be using it all the time, maybe 4-5 times
a month when the urge strikes me Then I start saving for the
new clutch. Remenber I want to keep my Van Aaken timing box
so the Edge Comp won't work for me. I also have full gauges , so I don't
need any fancy box with built in gauges. Anyone here with an APB box that
can fill me in ?

I've been speaking to Chip a lot lately. Since I have a TST and Chip is a standup guy he hasn't come right out and said that he thinks his box is better. He modestly says his box has a few more features. What I take from that is that the fueling capabilities of both the TST and Blue Chip FMS are equal. Chip just has a few more bells and whistles to control smoke and monitor/log extremes.
Either way I think it is a toss up. You're the one that has to drive it every day, not me. I like my TST, but I've also never had a FMS either.
