This'll Work Right?

this weekend some nice person turned a corner too sharp and hit my RH tail light . i found one on eBay but since my truck is an 02 with the 01 body style (according to the 1500s). because as all or most of you know, in 02 the body style updated on the 1500 series pickups but the 2500 and 3500 did not update until 03. so that makes it hard sometimes and even confusing for us 02 people. but what i need to know is, i found a RH tail light on ebay but it says it's for the 94-01, this is the right body style but will it still work even though mine is a 2500? that's what i wanna make sure of before i bid on it. because i sure don't wanna go the the dealership!

here's the link if ya wanna take a gander at the Tail Light!

I saw some 2nd gen tail light assemblies at Auto Zone. I didn't look at them too close, but it may be a place to start comparing.

That one will work, or you could just save your time and pick one up at an auto parts store for $25 or so.

I busted my tail light on my truck when my tow strap broke and hit it.
I bought my new light off of ebay...the light in your link looks just like mine...you should be good...I think mine was advertised as 94-01 as well.

alright, great i think i'm gonna bid on it then. and i would just save time and go down to the parts store but i sure am tight when it comes to money, and when i know i can get it for $10 vs. $25 i'll go with the $10 and just wait a lil bit.
thanks all for the tips.
