Thanks for the advice
Back in mid July I posted a question about trying to get 300 hp out of a 94 12v with a 160 hp pump. The general feeling was that a #10 plate and 3k gsk would be a good way to go. I finally got these two items installed and the desired results have been achieved. I don't know if I'm actually at the 300 hp level, but the power is way up, the fuel economy is up and drivability is much better. Looking back, the #6 plate I had in there before was a waste of money.
In the Ford chassis, the 3k gsk was a piece of cake to install. I installed it through the side of the pump. Tightened the nuts the same amount of clicks as they came off and did'nt have any idle or touchy accelerator issues.
So thanks to all who replied to my original post ( July 17th ).

RandyW,
Thanks for writting back about your mods. I am trying to do the same things to mine. Time has been very short for me, but hope to get their very soon. Anyways not many folks post about how their mods work once they get them done. How does your truck perform next to a d-max, 7.3, or a 6.0??

Sharpmachine,
Well, I don't know how it would stack up against a d-max or a powerstroke as I've never even ridden in either one. Mainly my truck is used for hauling our slide-in camper and towing a Jeep to the mountains or deserts. I wanted better grade climbing power and highway drivability. The engine runs more smoothly on the highway now.
