The current XZT does tap the pump. We have an alternate coming very soon as we are just waiting on plastics. The newer version will not tap the pump.

So both the Quad XZT and the Quad Xzillaraider are primarily fueling boxes, not timing + fueling? I have not read that they use much timing. That concerns me when it comes to mileage gains as well as EGTs as I drive at high-altitudes. Heck, I live at 6800 feet, but often tow over 10,000.

This thing rocks!

OK! The drive back, loaded was awesome! I talked to Roark with the good news, but have been deeply immersed in work and not able to post a good reply until now!

The module they sent me was strong and smooth, with more power than my stock tranny can handle. I could get up into the yellow on my Isspro pyro, which was impossible stock. I also noticed a very smooth transition when the box began kicking above the 8 psi boost threshold. Others have reported a stumble/flutter at about 6 lbs boost, and Quad says their box doesn't start anything until 8 psi or higher. I am not sure I felt that, as the suspension and ride on my truck amplifies road imperfections to a vibration/jarring point I feel is too rough to feel the true stumble, if present. The tach swings in a smooth arc now, instead of the little stair-stepped sweep. I will be testing it more over the weekend for fun, but so far the grin is back and big!! I need to order parts from Goerend Bros. soon!!

Jeremy reflashed my buddies box. Runs like a top with a little more "seat-of-the-pants" feel to it.
Thanks Jeremy, Roark, Quad for excellent Costomer Service and Tech Support.
